JamDeck is a MakeUofT 2026-winning project, and I want it here because it shows another side of how I like to build: fast, collaborative, and a little more product-shaped than my usual firmware-heavy work.
Hackathon projects can easily turn into rushed prototypes with a flashy demo and not much else. What made JamDeck stand out to me was that it still felt cohesive. It had a clear identity, a real concept behind it, and enough polish to earn a win at MakeUofT 2026.
Even though JamDeck lives in a different lane than my more hardware-oriented projects, it matters for the same reason: I like making things that feel intentional. Whether it’s firmware, controls, or a hackathon build, the work is better when it has both technical substance and some kind of soul.
